U.S Informs Ab-ass Of Obama-Netanyahu Meeting Failure
The United States Administration officially informed Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, of the failure of the meeting that took place between American President, Barack Obama, and Zionist Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
President Obama could and his aides could not convince Netanyahu to stop settlement activities in the occupied territories and in occupied East Jerusalem.
Palestinian Presidency Spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rodeina, told the French Press Agency that Abbas held a meeting in Amman on Thursday evening with David Hale, the assistance of U.S. Special Middle East Envoy, George Mitchell.
Hale told Ab-ass that Obama and Netanyahu did not reach an agreement on halting settlement activities in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Abu Rodeina added that Hale assured Ab-ass that the U.S Administration will continue its efforts, and will inform the Palestinian Authority of any developments.
A White House spokesperson said that all talks between the U.S and Zionist regime ended in failure, and that Zionist insists on building settlements in occupied East Jerusalem.
