Facebook said “Death to Khamenei” post does not violate the rule banning violent threats. It further argued that the slogan meant ” down with Khamenei.”
Years ago, Israeli lawmaker Ayelet Shaked’s Facebook post call for genocide of Palestinians got thousands of Facebook likes. Facebook did not think then that Shaked’s post calling for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to “little snakes.” meet the definition of genocide and or an incitement to violence against the Palestinians. After international outrage, Mrs. Shaked deleted her post and days later, she was appointed as Justice Minister.
I remember when the Manar TV was banned in the US, Canada, Australian, and Europe for playing “death to Israel” song.
It looks like Facebook can’t hide its hypocrisy.
