West hindering nuclear deal’s revival, blaming Iran for failure

Press TV A senior Russian diplomat says the three European signatories to the Iran nuclear deal have failed to fulfill their commitments and are now blocking the negotiations to revive the US-abandoned agreement. Russian Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov made the remarks in an interview with Russia’s daily broadsheet newspaper Izvestia. He said the talks to revive the nuclear deal – officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – have so far failed to yield any outcome due to insufficient efforts on the part of the European troika (France, Germany and Britain) as well as the United States. It is not the Iranians who are blocking the negotiations now as they are ready to resume the talks, he maintained....

#FreeBashir: Iranian music maestro victim of French repression of pro-Gaza activism

Posted by: John Phoenix By Ivan Kesic Last week, in a move widely condemned as part of the French government’s ongoing repression of pro-Palestinian activism amid the Nazi Holocaust on Gaza, an Iranian national was arrested in France. Bashir Biazar, a renowned music maestro and cultural figure, has been languishing in a French jail for the past week after being accused of “supporting terrorism” and “causing discord in the community” over his advocacy of the Palestinian cause and opposition to the Nazi Holocaust on Gaza. Previously the production manager at the Music and Song Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in Tehran, Biazar was summoned by French police in Paris on June 4 without explanation or a warrant. Much to his surprise, he was ...

Ex-Press TV reporter at centre of WaPo’s smear campaign against Grayzone

By Maryam Qarehgozlou | Press TV The Washington Post reports that Grayzone journalist Wyatt Reed took funds from Iran, and the report is based on testimonies of anti-Iran elements or those linked to US arms manufacturers. In another desperate bid to muzzle alternative media that has been revealing Western complicity in Gaza and Ukraine, The Washington Post recently published a hit piece targeting The Grayzone news outlet. The article alleged that The Grayzone is financially backed by Iran and Russia to “spread falsehoods.” Authored by Joseph Menn, the article claimed to have “exposed” The Grayzone’s journalist Wyatt Reed’s ties with Iran’s state media, relying on what it said were hacked emails and quotes f...

Nazi entity v Iran: The missiles of April

Posted by: John Phoenix Iran’s retaliatory attack on Israel will go down in history as one of the greatest victories in the country’s modern history. Scott Ritter Subscribe to our  channel Scores of Iranian missiles and drones were used to demonstrate the vulnerability of Israel’s air defences in April. Despite a combined (and totally unsustainable) spend of $3.5bn in a single night, the joint efforts of Israel, the USA and Britain were together unable to prevent Iranian missiles from reaching their targets. While no real damage was done this time, the message was delivered loud and clear. The following article is reproduced from Scott Ritter Extra with thanks. ***** I’ve been writing about Iran for more than two decades. In 2005, I made a trip to ...

Feature photo | A passerby, taking on his cellphone, walks past a banner showing missiles being launched from Iranian map in northern Tehran, Iran, April 19, 2024. Vahid Salemi | AP On April 13, Iran, alongside Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Yemen’s Ansar Allah, executed Operation True Promise, a vast wave of drone, cruise and ballistic missile strikes on Israel, launched in retaliation to Tel Aviv’s criminal bombing of Tehran’s Damascus embassy less than two weeks earlier, which killed two Iranian generals. As a result, history was made, and the world – particularly West Asia – will never be the same again. “This action was hugely significant. Now, the Israelis will have to be extremely careful about what they do in Syria against Tehran. The regional balance of power has permanent...

Iran/Contra pt 4 WACL 2

Beyond Iran/Contra Part 4 World War WACL    With a special thanks to @arrghshell of https://n0p3.net    In my last article in this series I traced the multiple origins of The World Anti-Communist League or WACL from British master spy Sidney Reilly's Anti-Bolshevik League, The largely unknown promethean league, and finally Hitlers Anti-Comintern Pact which absorbed both it's predecessors. I should also have mentioned Hitler's Committee of Subjugated Nations which was the precursor to the ABN branch of WACL. All were absorbed by western intelligence agencies recruited as allies to wage Covert and psychological warfare on the Soviet Union.  In Asia the US installed rightwing dictatorships in Taiwan, South Korea, South Vietnam, and other countr...
