Others were literally barricaded inside their hotel, the entrance surrounded by steel riot barriers. the regime dogs refuse to allow them to leave. Green personnel carriers line the streets. NOVANEWS Very briefly, because I'm exhausted. Made it to Gaza today after 6 hours traveling, 5 hours waiting at the border and getting yelled at by Egyptian police and low-level mukhabarat, and a couple more hours of Hamas questioning, culminating in a well-spoken Hamas guy explaining to me that that Hamas and the Palestinians had no problems with Christians or Jews (along with many points about Christian and Jewish and Muslim co-habitation in the Middle East for centuries) but had problems with occupation and murder and killing of their people and families, and that was the message he hoped I'd bring back to the US with me.
