A Zionist government minister warned that increasing rocket fire from Gaza would bring Palestinians a SHOAH*-the Hebrew word normally used to denote the Nazi Holocaust inflicted on Jews during the Second World War.
The declaration by the deputy Zionist Nazi Defence Minister, Matan Vilnai, come amid fresh calls from some Zionist politicians for a ground invasion of Gaza. Zionist Vilnai declared: ‘ As the rocket fire grows, and the range increases-and they haven’t yet said the last word on this, they are bringing upon themselves a greater SHOAH because we will use all our strength in every way we deem appropriate, whether in air strikes or on the ground. Cutting off a million-and –a half people, most of them civilians, from the outside world, depriving them of electricity, clean water, medical treatment and all the basic necessities for existence, plus repeated rocket attacks that have killed over 200 people in Gaza  and West Bank since the end of the Annapolis talks. In general, most of the ‘experts’ quoted seemed unable to grasp that the policy is not only immoral and illegal; it won’t work. According to the latest Aid organisation document published ‘The Gaza Strip: a Humanitarian Implosion’ issued by the Christan Aid, Oxfam, Save the Children and five other non governmental organisations, highlighted the plight in particular of one
Palestinian in Gaza called Munir. He is quoted as saying that the ‘Israelis’ would not allow him to travel to Jordan to receive medical treatment for thyroid cancer. The ‘Israeli’ delaying Munir’s crucial cancer treatment allowed the cancer to spread from his thyroid to other part of his body and his mental and physical health deteriorated.
Munir’s story is only one example of how lack of access to vital medical treatment is affecting ordinary people’s lives. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) the proportion of patients given permits to exit Gaza for medical care decreased from 89.3% in January 2007 to 64.3% in December 2007, it is important to note that even those patients who are granted permits to exit Gaza are often denied access at the crossing itself.
Due to this policy, 20 people have died, including 5 children. This blockade has effectively dismantled the economy and impoverished the population of Gaza. The Zionist’s policy affects the civilian population of Gaza indiscriminately and constitutes a collective punishment against ordinary men, women and children. The measures taken are illegal under international humanitarian law.
Poverty levels continue to climb and the UN predicts that mean household monthly income dropped by 22% in less than four months, between June and September 2007. During the same time period the number of household in Gaza earning less than $1.2 per person per day soared from 55% to 70%. The national deep poverty line is $3.3 per day. Almost 2,000 children have dropped out of school in Gaza in the last five months because families can no longer send their children to school, the impact of the Zionist policy has been enormous.
According to a survey in Gaza by UNRWA in September 2007, there was an almost 80% failure rate among grades four to nine, with up to 9% failure rates in Mathematics. ‘What we are seeing is the collapse of education standards due to the cumulative effects of the occupation, closures, poverty and violence’ according to the director of UNRWA operations in Gaza, John Ging. The Zionist current strategy in Gaza is failing at all levels and the international policy of isolating Hamas has not reaped any benefits. On the contrary this policy and the refusal to engage with Hamas leadership only closes doors to negotiations while reinforcing the political and humanitarian crisis.     
Time after time, experience has shown that the more the Zionist tries to crush the Palestinians. There is only one way to end the blockade, a ceasefire and negotiations. It seems to many of us that Jesus is on the cross again with thousands of crucified Palestinians around him in the Gaza Strip. The Zionist state crucifixion system is operating daily. They kill Jesus the Palestinians as infant, prophet and messiah. The Zionist has placed large boulder, a big stone that has metaphorically shut off Gaza as a tomb. It is similar to the stone placed on the entrance of Jesus’s tomb. There is no difference between the Zionist policies and the regimes of Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Pinochet and Apartheid** South Africa. This policy is the cause of suicide attacks. May we merit seeing in our days, the total, speedy and peaceful dismantlement of the Zionist state of ‘Israel?’
