The BNP’s Councillor for Chelmsley Wood is up for re-election on 6th May. Join with us to stop him being re-elected. The BNP is a fascist and racist organisation whose only aim is to create division between people and communities.
The election of a BNP Councillor has created an environment for hate and fear. In Chemsley Wood, as in other wards where the BNP has been successful, there has been a doubling of the number of reported racist incidents (The Guardian 15th January 2010).
In 2008, the BNP ran a racist and anti-muslim campaign in Solihull mobilising fear against a planning application made by a local Muslim organisation. BNP Councillors are largely ineffectual. Councillor Morgan missed his first Council Meeting after being elected. Apart from claiming their expenses they play little constructive role in representing the interests of local people.
The defeat of Councillor George Morgan would be an important setback for the BNP locally. Get involved and support the Days of Action in the lead up to the 6th May 2010. We will be leafleting the wards and encouraging people to vote in this important election.
Make the BNP History is organised and supported by local Trade Unions based in Solihull.
